Who we are
Huntingdon and District Wargames Society (HDWS) exists to provide an organization for wargaming and associated interests in the Huntingdon area of Cambridgeshire.
What we do
We play games with model soldiers. Games cover a wide variety of periods, from the distant past to the far future, using figures and board games. New ideas are welcome; we're generally prepared to try most things at least once.
HDWS meets every Thursday, from 7pm to 11pm, at:

The Montagu Club is a members' club with a reasonably priced bar. Non-members need to be signed in as guests, but that isn't generally a problem as members of HDWS are automatically members of the club and can sign in guests.

Role-Playing Games
HDWS meetings generally don't directly involve role-playing games. There are, however, role-players among us who meet in other groups at other times. There is also an unconnected group of role-players which meets at the Montagu Club on Thursdays from 7pm to 11pm, the same time as HDWS.
